Why we exist
Children and youth are not simply smaller adults. Their nervous systems are developing, their clinical needs are diverse, and their care requires thoughtful adaptation of evidence, devices, dosing, consent, monitoring, and long-term follow-up.
INFANCY provides a shared home for the people working to answer these questions and translate responsible progress into better care.
From consortium to society
The organization began with a research-consortium concept focused on building pediatric evidence. Its mandate expanded because the field needs more than research alone. Education, clinical implementation, professional standards, public understanding, technology, advocacy, reimbursement, and international collaboration must advance together.
